Zoomlion Launches Internal Football League to Boost Corporate Culture

Thirteen teams from across Zoomlion’s diverse business units have descended upon the pitch in Changsha, marking the start of the company’s second employee football league. Running from May 29 to July 3, the tournament aims to translate the intensity of competitive sports into the firm's daily operational environment.

The tournament, titled "Youth in Motion, Football Dreams at Zoomlion," spans over 30 matches and integrates players from departments ranging from concrete and mining machinery to overseas operations and ZValley. Representatives from the company’s labor union and youth league committee inaugurated the event, which serves as a deliberate effort to foster cross-functional collaboration and trust among staff who rarely interact during standard business hours.

Beyond the competitive aspect, the initiative acts as a mirror for the company’s internal values. According to Long Baijun, a director within the mining machinery division, the discipline and resilience required on the field directly correlate to the teamwork necessary for the firm's industrial output. By hosting these matches, leadership intends to bridge the gap between distinct subsidiaries, encouraging employees to apply the focus found on the field to their professional responsibilities.
