Armed Forces Bank Launches Integrated Payment Suite for Veterans

Veteran-owned businesses and military-support organizations now have access to a centralized financial toolset designed to simplify invoicing and collections. Armed Forces Bank, headquartered in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, has integrated the Autobooks platform directly into its business checking accounts to reduce administrative overhead and accelerate cash flow for its military-affiliated clients.

The new Payments Suite allows users to generate professional invoices, accept in-person or online payments, and monitor fundraising revenue without relying on external software. By embedding these features within existing bank accounts, the institution eliminates the need for separate logins or manual fund transfers between platforms. The service carries no monthly subscription fee, though standard payment processing costs remain in effect.

This rollout addresses significant operational hurdles, as recent data indicates that over 60% of business operators struggle with time-consuming payment collection tasks. Beyond efficiency, the integration aims to mitigate security concerns regarding fraud and fragmented bookkeeping systems. According to Jodi Vickery, the bank's Chief Digital Officer, the goal is to provide mission-focused tools that allow entrepreneurs and organizations—such as VFW posts and Family Readiness Groups—to prioritize community service over administrative maintenance.
