This conversion is the first stage of an 18-million-dollar investment in the company's Learjet 45XR fleet. A second aircraft is scheduled to receive the same configuration in the coming months, signaling Airmedic's push to solidify its international repatriation program. While the company is scaling its global reach from its Montreal hub, Louis-Philippe Loiselle Fortier, Vice-President of Strategic Initiatives, confirmed that these aircraft remain available for urgent inter-hospital transfers within Quebec. The fleet, which also includes six Pilatus PC-12 NG aircraft, operates under EURAMI accreditation, maintaining the standards necessary for its expanding transatlantic mission profile.
