The company’s flagship platform, the Alvian Trust Stack, provides tools for operators to cryptographically sign critical events and ensure the accuracy of timing data. As automated systems become more prevalent in industrial environments, the need for tamper-evident records has grown, and Alvian intends to address this by offering forensically defensible evidence for system operators. CEO Ryan McCann stated that the decision to operate from Buffalo underscores the company’s commitment to the cross-border partnership between Canada and the United States.

Invest Buffalo Niagara, the regional economic development organization, supported the move, citing the city's strategic connectivity to both Canadian and American markets. By basing its US team at the Seneca One Tower, Alvian joins a growing technology hub designed to support infrastructure-focused enterprises. The firm plans to utilize this presence to better serve its expanding portfolio of American utility and network clients, positioning itself at the intersection of international trade and cybersecurity.
