The accolade reflects United Road’s role in navigating the complex demands of the automotive supply chain. According to GM, winners are selected based on their alignment with the automaker’s strategic priorities and their ability to maintain resilience while supporting global operations. Shilpan Amin, GM’s Senior Vice President of Global Chief Procurement and Supply Chain, noted that such partnerships allow the manufacturer to accelerate development cycles and unlock value across the entire chain.
Ryan Kraft, CEO of United Road, attributed the win to the consistency of his workforce, specifically citing the drivers and support staff who manage vehicle transport. Since its founding in 1997, the company has grown into North America’s largest finished vehicle logistics provider, annually moving over 3 million units. Operating out of Michigan, the firm manages an extensive network that includes 1,200 trucks under its own authority and over 2,800 vetted third-party carriers, serving a diverse client base ranging from major automakers to online retail platforms.
