Alcami Overhauls Tennessee Facility Following Tjoapack Acquisition

Alcami is executing a sweeping operational overhaul at its newly acquired Tennessee facility, integrating the site into the company’s centralized digital quality management network. The move aims to harmonize compliance standards and boost throughput as the firm pivots to absorb assets gained through its purchase of Tjoapack.

The Tennessee site is transitioning to MasterControl, the digital platform currently governing Alcami’s broader U.S. infrastructure. This shift is accompanied by a structural realignment of the facility’s Quality and Operations teams to ensure capacity matches rising client demand. Beyond software and personnel, the company is committing capital to hardware, including upgraded packaging lines and a new high-speed bottle line slated for operation in early 2027.

These upgrades also introduce advanced serialization capabilities to satisfy shifting regulatory requirements. Simultaneously, the facility is being folded into Alcami’s national GMP storage network, which is undergoing its own expansion of temperature-controlled warehousing and redundancy systems. Patrick Walsh, Interim CEO and Board Chair, stated that these investments are designed to bolster supply continuity and maintain quality standards across the group’s integrated service offerings.
