Logan Young Tapped to Lead East Tennessee Business Banking

Logan Young, currently the Cleveland Market President for First Horizon Bank, will expand his portfolio to oversee business banking operations across the East Tennessee region. The appointment adds a strategic layer to the bank's regional leadership, tasking Young with driving growth in the Chattanooga and Knoxville markets while maintaining his existing duties.

Young brings a decade of industry experience to the expanded role, including a three-year tenure leading the Cleveland market. Richard Shaffer, East Regional President, noted that Young’s client-first approach and established track record in team development were primary drivers for the promotion. He will continue to coordinate with internal partners and community organizations to integrate financial solutions for the bank's regional clientele.

First Horizon, which holds $84.1 billion in assets as of March 2026, views this shift as a means to sustain momentum in its fast-growing East Tennessee footprint. The bank, headquartered in Memphis, currently operates across 12 southern states, offering a broad suite of services ranging from wealth management to commercial lending.
