The partnership focuses on integrating electrical balance-of-plant systems into fuel cell installations. Siemens will manage the electrical design and supply chain, providing the necessary infrastructure to support rapid scaling for distributed energy needs. According to Kevin Brown, head of sustainability solutions at Siemens Smart Infrastructure USA, the alliance aims to deliver reliable, on-site power solutions tailored for high-demand applications.
Beyond immediate deployment, the companies have committed to a series of pilot projects and development initiatives. These efforts will evaluate the integration of modular electrical systems and medium-voltage DC power delivery, testing new use cases for fuel cell technology in modern grids.
