Arnold, who holds the E. Gerald Corrigan PhD Endowed Chair in Alzheimer Therapeutics at Massachusetts General Hospital, brings extensive experience in bridging biological research with clinical outcomes. His career includes leadership roles at the University of Pennsylvania’s Memory Center and the oversight of early-stage trials at Mass General Brigham. His work, encompassing over 400 peer-reviewed publications, focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cognitive decline and the application of precision medicine in trial design.

CEO Stella Sarraf noted that Arnold’s integration of biomarker strategies is essential for the company's upcoming registration-directed studies. Spinogenix is currently developing tazbentetol, a first-in-class therapeutic designed to restore synapses in patients with Alzheimer’s, ALS, and schizophrenia. By leveraging EEG data from Phase 2a studies, the board intends to refine how the company measures synaptic regeneration, potentially setting a new standard for neurodegenerative treatment protocols.
