The release follows a period of significant growth for the company, which reported a 201% quarter-over-quarter bookings increase in the period ending April 30, 2026. CEO Brian Bell noted that the shift is driven by a demand for explainable security, where organizations can justify authentication challenges to auditors and regulators rather than relying on opaque, vendor-controlled algorithms.
Unlike traditional multi-tenant cloud authentication, the new Intelligent MFA functions across diverse environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and dedicated cloud deployments. By utilizing clear metrics such as impossible travel, untrusted devices, and dormant account status, the system provides a transparent risk score. This transparency allows security teams to document exactly why a specific login triggered an MFA challenge, addressing a common pain point for companies operating in regulated industries where accountability is a primary requirement.
