The update introduces a multi-model approach, allowing wearers to toggle between Claude and ChatGPT mid-conversation without losing context. Beyond basic voice interaction, the integration supports multimodal analysis, enabling the AI to process uploaded images and PDF documents. The system also includes features such as real-time text streaming, source citation for web-based queries, and an incognito mode that automatically purges chat logs from company servers upon exit.
CEO Harrison Gross described the integration as a milestone in the company's strategy to offer flexible, hardware-agnostic AI access. Innovative Eyewear, which holds a pending patent for multi-AI eyewear systems, plans to further enhance the experience in late Q3 2026. This future update aims to enable hands-free queries while the user’s smartphone remains locked in a pocket, mirroring the company’s existing voice-first interface for ChatGPT.
