The company’s performance was driven by growth across all primary segments, with the cardiovascular division leading at 8.3 percent reported growth. Regionally, the Latin America and Canada sector saw the most significant expansion, recording a 22.4 percent increase in reported sales. These results arrived as the company finalized a $2 billion accelerated share repurchase program, retiring approximately 40 million shares during the quarter.

Strategic investments remain a central focus for the Marlborough-based firm. During the quarter, Boston Scientific committed $1.5 billion to MiRus LLC, securing a 34 percent equity stake and an option to acquire the developer’s TAVR business. The company also reached milestones in its clinical pipeline, including positive data for its FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation system, which outperformed traditional anti-arrhythmic drugs in trials for persistent atrial fibrillation. Looking ahead, management has adjusted its full-year 2026 outlook, projecting net sales growth of 5.5 to 6.5 percent on a reported basis.
