His career includes high-stakes engineering for NASA, Lockheed Martin, and the Space Shuttle program. The new Jupiter site, scheduled for operational manufacturing in January 2027, represents a departure from the company's previous prototyping phase.

The company’s core focus remains on retrofitting existing energy infrastructure rather than replacing it. Their CAT platform integrates directly into legacy coal and gas facilities to eliminate pollutants while maintaining baseload power. Beyond the CAT system, VIVIFY’s portfolio includes the HOG and Flying Pig hydrogen units, designed for independent, behind-the-meter energy deployment. Herring noted that the transition to the Jupiter facility signals that the company has moved past development and is now fully committed to production at scale.
