The architectural landmark 53 West 53 has become one of the first properties to earn the VERIFIED™ Luxury Residences designation from Forbes Travel Guide. Developed by Atelier CX, the consulting arm of Forbes Travel Guide, the certification process rigorously audits a property's service culture and operational consistency. For 53 West 53, the achievement follows a deep collaboration between the building's management, FirstService Residential, and industry consultants to codify a hospitality-first approach for its occupants.

Marc Kotler, president of FirstService Residential New York, noted that the designation mirrors the dedication of the board and staff to maintain a standard of care commensurate with the building's iconic profile. Rising above Midtown near The Museum of Modern Art, the Jean Nouvel-designed skyscraper aims to bridge the gap between private ownership and the personalized attention typically reserved for five-star hotel guests. Hermann Elger, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, emphasized that modern luxury now hinges on how residents feel within their daily environment, rather than just aesthetics or amenities.
