Novifolium Bridges Physical and Digital Worlds with DREAMO Collectibles

London-based Novifolium is redefining the collectible market by launching DREAMO, a character designed to exist in a constant state of flux between physical objects and a digital ecosystem called DREAMOSIS. Rather than static merchandise, the project treats physical editions as curated chapters in an evolving, infinite creative narrative.

The traditional model of entertainment—where a story spawns a character, which eventually becomes a toy—is being inverted. DREAMOSIS utilizes a circular process where real-world inputs, such as personal photos or everyday discoveries, feed into a digital environment. From this digital abundance, specific interpretations of the DREAMO character are selected to become physical objects. By bridging these realms, the company aims to move beyond the "blind box" era, turning the act of collecting into a dynamic interaction rather than a passive purchase.

Novifolium views the physical collectible as an act of selection in an age of generative infinite possibilities. While digital versions can exist in thousands of variations, the physical release serves as a permanent anchor. The project launched its first phase via a Kickstarter campaign, testing the appetite for a character that maintains a recognizable silhouette while shifting its identity through different materials, fashion, and cultural contexts. The goal is to ensure that each physical DREAMO feels like a significant event, transforming the shelf from a graveyard of finished products into a living inventory of an ongoing story.
