Arclin Joins UN Global Compact to Scale Sustainable Manufacturing

Materials science firm Arclin has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact, aligning itself with a network of over 20,000 organizations committed to responsible business practices. This move formalizes the Alpharetta-based company’s existing efforts to integrate environmental, social, and governance standards into its global operations and innovation pipelines.

CEO Bradley Bolduc stated that the membership is intended to foster cross-industry collaboration, allowing Arclin to tackle shared environmental challenges while creating long-term value. The company has already implemented a mandatory supplier Code of Conduct, which covers labor rights, health and safety, and environmental compliance. These standards build upon previous operational shifts, including the 2025 installation of a 12.6 MWp solar array at its Asturias, Spain facility.

Arclin’s push for sustainability extends into its core product development, notably with the Firepoint fire-resistant sheathing, which earned Green Builder Media’s "Sustainable Product of the Year" title in both 2025 and 2026. Designed for resilience in Wildland-Urban Interface zones, the product reduces material usage and carbon emissions during construction. Furthermore, the company holds ISCC PLUS certification for plants in Spain and Virginia, supporting the production of materials such as Kevlar and Nomex. Kelsey Bergan, Vice President of Global Sustainability, noted that this UN partnership serves to embed these responsible practices deeper into the company’s growth strategy, moving beyond individual projects to a systemic corporate commitment.
