By utilizing standardized systems and off-site manufacturing, the firm focuses on reducing capital costs and delivery timelines for sectors including pharmaceuticals, data centers, and low-carbon energy.

This partnership follows years of project-based cooperation between the two entities. Bryden Wood has previously provided capital strategy and design support for several Ara portfolio companies, such as Sedron, Divert, Utility Global, BioVeritas, and GIDARA Energy. According to Charles Cherington, co-founder and managing partner of Ara Partners, the firm's ability to lower capital costs on major industrial projects provides a compounding advantage for their investments. For Bryden Wood co-founder Martin Wood, the investment provides the necessary scale to transition promising technologies into investable, buildable assets, further embedding their methodology within the broader industrial economy.
