Costco Expands DoorDash Partnership to All U.S. Locations

Warehouse shoppers across the United States now have a new delivery option as Costco Wholesale moves to integrate its entire domestic footprint into the DoorDash Marketplace. This expansion follows a similar nationwide push with Uber Eats, signaling a rapid shift in the retailer’s strategy to dominate the last-mile delivery market.

Costco Expands DoorDash Partnership to All U.S. Locations

The partnership marks a significant increase in accessibility, connecting all U.S. warehouse locations to the DoorDash platform. While the two companies previously collaborated in international markets including Australia, Sweden, and Iceland, this move solidifies their domestic ties. DoorDash now claims partnerships with eight of the ten largest food retailers in North America, underscoring its aggressive capture of the grocery delivery sector.

This development comes just one day after Costco announced a massive expansion of its existing deal with Uber Technologies. That agreement brings Uber Eats delivery services to 47 states, a substantial jump from the previous 17-state coverage. By activating both major delivery providers simultaneously, Costco is effectively removing the logistical barriers that once kept its bulk-buying model separate from the convenience of on-demand delivery apps.
