Sagent Elevates Sridhar Sharma to CEO and Adds Andrew Bon Salle as Chair

Sharma steps into the top role following a tenure as Sagent’s President, where he championed the development of the company’s end-to-end servicing ecosystem. His background includes a decade at Mr. Cooper, where he oversaw the creation of patented machine learning tools that helped scale the firm into a national leader. As CEO, Sharma intends to focus on the large-scale implementation of Dara, specifically leveraging its engine, DaraIQ, to automate routine servicing tasks while allowing human staff to prioritize complex borrower issues.

Andrew Bon Salle joins the board with nearly 30 years of experience in housing finance and capital markets. His appointment arrives as Sagent seeks to navigate the regulatory and operational complexities inherent in the mortgage industry. Both executives will succeed Chris Marshall, who oversaw the initial vision and development of the Dara platform. By integrating AI-driven workflows into a unified cloud-native architecture, Sagent aims to replace fragmented legacy systems with a single interface for the entire mortgage lifecycle.
