He contends that before signing any agreement, a consumer must receive a definitive answer to a single, critical question: who does the attorney actually represent? By pushing for higher standards of transparency and accountability, Newton believes the industry can move away from ambiguous sales tactics and toward a model where clients clearly understand who is sitting on their side of the table.
