His new mandate focuses on a high-stakes global initiative: the creation of one million green jobs and a one percent reduction in worldwide carbon emissions. Majumdar intends to leverage his background in waste-to-energy systems and his "Project Green Logic" research framework to integrate circular economy principles into Verite's broader financial strategy.

Verite currently manages $7 billion in obligations, providing the capital backing required for Majumdar’s infrastructure-heavy approach. By deploying industrial-scale waste-to-energy frameworks similar to those he previously implemented across Ghana, Nigeria, and Mexico, Majumdar aims to standardize climate impact reporting using the GWP20 accounting metric. The partnership reflects a shared institutional focus on combining corporate finance with social equity, specifically targeting job growth for underserved populations through sustainable industrial development.
