Collins brings over three decades of asset management experience, notably as the former head of sustainable investing at Putnam Investments. Her background in managing multibillion-dollar portfolios is expected to bolster the board’s perspective on governance and sustainable growth. Ryerkerk joins with four decades of global industrial experience, having recently led Celanese Corporation through an $11 billion acquisition. Her history in refining and downstream strategy at companies like Shell and ExxonMobil provides the board with deep operational oversight.
The appointments coincide with the departure of long-standing directors Dr. Kathryn Sullivan and Ahmet C. Dorduncu, who will retire at the end of 2026. Sullivan has served on the board since 2017, while Dorduncu’s tenure dates back to 2011. CEO Andy Silvernail noted that the incoming directors possess the specific expertise required to guide the organization through its current transition phase, balancing Collins’ focus on investment research with Ryerkerk’s proven track record in heavy industrial leadership.
